The Archeological Society of Maryland, Inc. has a number of award categories. Each award is presented annually, as appropriate. Current award categories are:

• The William B. Marye Award honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Maryland archeology.
  
  
• The Patricia Seitz Teacher of the Year Award recognizes excellence in instruction by developing and/or incorporating archeological content, projects, and/or activities into the classroom.
