ASM's 2001 Teacher of the Year Award

George Wright


George Wright, an 11th- and 12th-grade instructor at Mount de Sales Academy in Catonsville, is the Archeological Society of Maryland's Teacher of the Year for 2000. Mr. Wright created a one-semester course in archeology in 1999, in which students focused on the history and archeology of Mount de Sales. They excavated, processed artifacts, conducted research, and set up a display at the school.
